Therefore no point paying more for Singtel direct any more, just go for the cheaper mvnos with heaps of free roaming data.

Either Singtel 5G+ Priority or MVNO 5G/4G Peasant, don't bother with in-between.

Agreed, just market segmentation marketing to reap more profits.

i'm still on the older sim card but can receive 5g, occasionally receive singtel email telling me to change to 5g sim card for free.

older 4G Sim card supports 5G NSA but not 5G SA. Newer sim cards will support SA tech

i don't have 5G SIM (i'm using zym singtel 5G NSA), but speed test results of 5G NSA and SA don't have any significant difference.

Moew focus should be the the lower latency. In fact on my zym 5G NSA, I got speed test download of 1200mbps and ping as low as 10ms.

Better to change now since it's free and possibly utilise the new functions down the road than having to possibly pay later when required to swap your SIM card.

Exactly. It is quite easy to exchange the SIM card to 5G using SingTel Shop kiosk (usually outside the shop), no need to go through the counter.

Changed two SIM cards in 2024 with the SingTel SIM Only recontract with free 5G Access add-on. Previously I was also lazy to exchange since 5G Access was free for only three months before the 2024 recontract.

any key diffeernces between the 3 mobile lines in the Priority Fam phone plan vs the super stacker mobile stack on an Enhanced M phone plan? Both are using mobileshare lines mechanism to provision the other 2 lines? Is there any caveat if I would like to terminate the main line after contract finish?
