Smell whenever its opened and some ppl might b so inconsiderate to try to stuff big items inside and subsequently block the opening. if u r currently living in a hdb with common chute, u will get what I mean.

it seems to be at a corner, just next to the main door. take a look at my earlier post. ive circled that in red. not sure how zun tho

If it is zhun then won't the chute be directly beside the main door for 2 bed room units? Is it even possible?

Ya. Almost all blocks have that little rectangle at the common area. So far my agent has been quite informative. And this was told to me after I've selected the unit. He told me heng I didnt select that one with the chute outside

Your observation here is more likely to be accurate. Every block has that small rectangle between certain units. Likely to be near the stairwell with the lifts opposite.

Definitely not within the floor plan.

I also say...Ownself scared ownself. Although I should just tiam tiam if I don't wish to join the conversation...as a fellow owner of V I feel Malu there are owners concerned about rubbish chute lor... Lol

There is a plan in show flat where can see where is the lift, staircase, refuse chute etc.

Hi my agent said , we can see where the chute by seeing the house of the shape. Eg 53,54,55,56 . Compare e shape and u would see e different. Chute is at 53.

If my main door is next to the rubbish chute, I am deeply concerned cos if what residents dump in contain sweet stuff, the ant is most likely gonna visit my unit!

Definitely not within the floor plan.

Pls refer to the pic that I've uploaded. I'm not referring to THAT rect that is on the c2 plan. I'm referring to the rect area in the common area which coincides with the void box behind the dB in the c6, cs4 and cs3a

From the looks of it, the chute will still be quite far away from the door I suppose.

My final response regarding the chute:

If it's at the corner of the unit near the door, then where will the collection be at the basement/1st storey? Next to the lift/stairs?

I still think it's in the recess space between the units where you can see a small rectangle. That leads to an open area for rubbish collection.
