At least for the first few years, those getting EC will find themselves paying off the loan rather than owning a car.

Wow this assumption just fell from the sky... so we should find newly completed ECs with carparks that are empty?

Then this "theory" should also apply to condos or not, since condos are even more exp?

C6 living is just slightly bigger than D1's. You can tell from the floor plans. But if you are to compare an actual site later on, you probably won't feel the diff.

:s13: then bukit timah residents will all be walking wherever they go, don't even have money to pay for MRT or bus fare!

such a leap of logic to assume that people buying ECs are buying outside of their means...

That is my thought too. If go swim or gym always full of people, also no point. :(
To me the only pro for Sol Acres selling point is only the long distance of block to block which most ECs dun have.

One of the cons near LRT so? Still have to take it change to mrt.. not direct up mrt line.
Somemore LRT breakdown, no bus services & u gotta walk..

looking for one that can give sound and genuine advice...lol

So far the agents I met only tell u the good side of things... so it's better u make your own judgements.

Or, u can go to different projects n meet different agents loh, they usually say some bad things about competitor projects. Then u ownself go n think it through what makes the most sense

Maybe go ask around see if you have friends/relatives who are property agents marketing the development you wanna get? I think there are direct sales from the developers as well, if you have friends who bought units in QJ projects, they can refer you to the developer's sales team and I think. They get a referral fee (6-7k I think), you guys can share it :s13: This is according to what my friend told me (he bought bellewaters, I was looking at new ECs and he said if I bought visionnaire he gets a referral fee which we can split).

My experience with walk-in agents and those soliciting appointments online is not very good. In hindsight I should have looked for contacts that I know instead.

Only agent that will give sound and genuine advice is either your close relative or close friend.

By telling you not to buy, they are forgoing their 10-20 K commission. And, in the end, you may just get another agent to do it for you. So money people earn, bad person they become.

I had a friend (agent) told me, not telling and telling lies is 2 different thing.
They will focus on good things, down play the bad. Those with ethics, like my friend, do not lie. If you ask, they will say. However, they will not volunteer bad news. Unless it is good friend, then rather not earn money than tio KPKB for years to come.

So, all things being equal.. maybe you get a better deal looking for a chio one.

Hey bro, on surrounded by HDB, I am referring to your comment on Parc Life. BS and V is not near to HDB meh? Even there is MRT track, you need 15 minutes to cross the road?

Okok... We all agree that V & BS not near HDB in the first place.

But dun understand why need cross the road? If not wrong, MRT shud be on BS side(passby site a few times saw their construction work). If not, it shud have an underground passage to link across.

Already convenient as its walkable to MRT rather than need to take feederbus compare to other development.. 'free shuttle bus' need to pay eventually so for B & VS without 'free shuttle' oso no prob. :)
