1) No it will not work. Nokia XS-240X-A is configured by Starhub as an ONT, only the 10G LAN port is working, the three 1G LAN ports are not functional.
2) FYI, for Singtel, Nokia XS-240X-A is configured as an ONR. In that case, the 10G LAN port and three 1G LAN ports are all functional.
3) ONT vs ONR.
Power users tend to like ONT better as they can use their own router to the full of its ability. ONR may have limited feature compared to normal router. Apparently Starhub finally thinks that ONR is not a good idea and ditched Nokia XS-2426X-A ONR (all-in-one with AX6000 wireless) for all the new 3Gbps/5Gbps/10Gbps plans.
But you can see ONR has some benefits for average users who want to save money (eg: no need to put a wireless router in the DB Box).
More about ONT vs ONR here in the second sticky thread.

4) BTW, in general, do not use "modem" word for Fibre, ONT and ONR are the right words to use, even though you can call ONT kind of "Fibre Modem" and ONR kind of "Fibre Modem Router".
