any comment on Rinnai instant water heater?

I initially thought of getting Rinnai too. But now I will be getting Panasonic DH-3NDP1MS (With DC Pump) or DH-3MP2MS (Without DC Pump). Cheaper by at least $100+ but must buy from JB. Panasonic design is nice in my opinion. Cheers.

initially i wanted to get Panasonic from msia , but worry about the warranty. m'sia has more Panasonic models as compared with SG.

Same thoughts initially but warranty covers the same standard 1 year and 5 years DC pump. Except warranty in JB. I don't think instant water heater will have much issues anyway. Going in next week to check out more about warranty with shop and all good I will buy. If interested, drop me a PM and I will inform you. :s22:

Looking at AO Smith Tank Digital Water Heater, not sure how many liters are sufficient. Whether 40L enough?

- BTO

- Cater for 4 persons
- Individual shower about 5-10 mins

Please let me know if you have kangtao for this order + installation. Thanks!

You might want to rethink the instant water heater + rain shower combo. Instant water heaters are pressure reducing systems. The heater needs to reduce the flow rate so that it has enough time to heat up the water as it comes out. The hotter you want the water, the lower the pressure.

Rain showers usually have a lot of big holes and need a lot of pressure. You combine low pressure with big rain shower head, might end up with just a drizzle or just a water trickling out of some of the holes, not rain.

I bought the rubine instant heater with rain shower in 2016 when my unit was going through the HIP. Honestly, the turbo feature was turned off by me after it gives out a strange loud vibration. Quite disappointing but could be just my luck. Just sharing my experience with you.

I see, my mistake I didn’t google those 2. If they come with the pump and rain shower as a set then I guess they should be designed for that purpose properly already.

Quick google lands me on this thread, maybe the feedback there can help you a bit: https://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/...ater-heater-rwh-2388-rain-shower-5425505.html

Been reading all till I got confused lol.. But salesman told me no issues with pressure except it's noisy.. But I have fair share of people recommending both the brands which further confuses me lol

Anyone using a gas heater?

I just bought a resale unit with a Rinnai gas heater and realised the water is hot-cold-hot-cold even though the tap is on the red side and not switched off. This is the same across both bathrooms. Anyone encountered a similar issue before?

Oh no so you switched to storage heater instead? Did you have to call citygas to cut off the supply to the showers? Rinnai quoted me $1750+ for a replacement including labour costs! That's crazy
