stop using it please, i really don't get why you have no sense of self preservation? get it checked by someone certified, or just outright replace it.

I just changed my ariston storage heater to joven storage heater. My previous 2 ariston storage heaters leaked just a couple of months after expiry of warranty! I changed to joven because it gives me 10 years of leak proof warranty.
Aniston used for over 10yrs round design
Rubber breaking up but still working till recently changed to Joven because leaked n then spoil Liao

currently using champs instant water heater with rainshower, bought in 2019.. there was a loud boom and my electricity short circuit this morning when I switch on the water heater.. after a while, I reset and the heater is working well again... Should I change the water heater to avoid another short circuit or getting electrocuted?
better trace it

Hi all,

I'm thinking of getting a storage heater for my family of 5 in a HDB. Since this is the first time I'm getting a storage heater, I checked the web on what size I should be getting. From the AOS website, it said for 5 ppl I should be getting is 80L. I was quite surprised

I was thinking of getting a 30L one but now they say 80L? Just want to check with you all here. If indeed I need to get such a big tank?

Also, if anyone knows if I can get a smart switch for the heater so that I can remotely turn it on/off?

Thank you!

May I know what size did you get for how many members in your family?

Any recommendations for such a smart switch? I only know of standard 3 pin wifi smart switches. Heaters they run on a different kind of switch yes?

Just replaced a 30L Ariston Storage heater tank and the pressure relief valve keeps dripping water when the heater is on. According to Ariston, they claimed it is normal. My water pressure bar is 2. Anyone here can advise? My understanding about pressure relief valve triggers to open to release water is when unsafe pressure or temperature is hit and its should not be often. Mine is everytime I on the heater, it drips and is continuously dripping in fast mode.

Temperature increases pressure as well, maybe the PRV setting is too low till when you heat up water to a certain temp, it exceeds the PRV rating and releases a bit of water occasionally.

If it's below boiling point, I doubt pressure increases so much. 2 bar boiling point is still 100+ deg C.

Something is wrong if you are heating up to 100+ deg C.

Just went there yesterday. Thinking of getting their Gen 6 model.

I using my own installer as package inside my reno. If not, will consider getting their installer. Higher cost but at least min issue.

Try adding a washer... if it's still leaking, then wind up some plumber tape..

I bought the new Panasonic DH3RL1SW Water Heater to replace my old faulty heater.

I just realised the water outlet connector cannot fit in other shower head which I bought from hardware stores. Does this means I can only use shower head and hose from Panasonic only?
