Hello people. I wanted to change the wall switch of the water heater to a smart one but I don’t want to turn off the whole all circuit breaker switch when changing the wall switch. Anybody has an idea which fuse / circuit breaker to turn off in the fuse box that’ll correspond to the Water heater switch? Mine is the new BTO flat with main max amp at 40 amps. In this case is the fuse corresponding to the heater switch a 32 amps one?
Btw on my fuse box I only saw many breakers labeled 6A , 20A and 32A.

Thank you very much! I

AOSmith or Ariston Water Tank

Looking at the 2 models for my flat. Looking to put the water tank at the yard to serve 2 bathrooms and I guess the kitchen sink.

How is everyone's experience so far? I assume 30L model not enough for 2 bathrooms and kitchen? Maybe opt for 40L?

The Gen 6 Digital Water Heater for AOsmith looks interesting.

Got quoted $90 to install instant water heater, $190 to install shower head set and $130 to install two way tap

Is that market rate? Feel that the price is high. Total is 1k including wiring

I think the 50L price is not much higher than 40L.. just get the 50L? I'm using AOS digital version all I can say is it's super useful.. with the panel you can off the power when you heated enough water.

I decided to go with the 30L Ariston to save some cash and see how it goes. This is my first time using a Water Heater tank so need to level up some experience. Been using Instant heater all my life, time to change lifestyle lol.

Instant heater with booster pump

I would like to know more about instant heater with booster pump. I hope someone can help

a. Given that there is a booster now in the heater, do you need to change the wiring to cater for high energy consumption?

b. can Instant heater with booster pump be installed in HDB flat?

c. Rubine products are they reliable? If not what do you recommend

thank you
