Why exercises so difficult to achieve?

Low intensity walking is more prone to injuries than running? Sports injuries are far too common. The fact is that any activities that you do long term will lead to chronic problems if you don't do it properly and with common sense.
Many here equate house cleaning or car washing as extreme exercise coz they feel tired or back pain. It just burn calories and does nothing to stimulate body adaptation, i.e. super compensation, coz the intensity is low. Long term doing this only result in chronic injuries, that's why body ache here and there before they reach 50.

Running injuries are usually due to over trained. So train within your limit. I am 57 have been running 17 years . Never had runner knees. Encountered shin splint due to overtraining from marathon. Lesson learnt how much to train within my limit and had been injury free for 7 years.
Beside sport injuries are usually acute, once healed is back to running as opposed to chronic.

ur speed is rather fast for 57 years, i am 10 year younger, yet my jogging speed maxes out at 1km/8min (y)

I like how the further you talk the more you show how ignorant r u. Maybe you should start to really do some house work.

My point is to integrate activities with your life. It can be in part or whole. I have absolutely no interest to discuss an elephant with someone who never seen one.
So u carry the 5kg bucket while u mop is it? I really nvr seen someone mop like that before

Waa 6 mins your heart rate already 169bpm you need reduce your stride liao.. might be extending your leg too much.
my heart quite weak i think. i walk to starting point of my jogging path alr at 100+ liao.
but its already n improvement compared to last month. my avg bpm was at 177 for only 2.4km

Because lack of anearobic… cycling to work maybe aerobic only. Exercise you need 强度 to hit different heart rate zones. Or else is considered a garbage exercise.
I do walk at least once a week only.
Weekdays are working.

Walking 100-109 heart rate still ok . If you say you 2.4km heart rate is 177 is too high liao . 2.4km should be around 140-155bpm . You try 7min/km pace see heart rate drop anot...

Any suggestions on the training plan for lowering heart rate while gradually improving my pace?

I suspect too.
I am using low ses army shoe...
Cos it's cheap.
But if few hours walk, my foot will blisters.
Army shoe bky la .. make your heel abrasion pain when the shoe break in, and the heavy weight make your steps/cadence slower and will cause injuries to your legs ,knees joint because the cushion not enough to bounce back.

Then also register your shoes on strava app . So you know how many KM your shoe already used. 500km can replaced but up to individual and the wear and tear of the sole you..
