Why need to go malaysia to buy med?

cos malaysia sells the exact same medicine at half the price of Singapore



Of cos if u r just buying small amounts then no point going so far.

But some people on long term medication or needs alot of medicine, it's worth making a trip to JB
can save alot of money

Tldr: Some life insurance companies don't even screen for ldl as marker for mortality and use trig/hdl instead.

Which one u trust more?
A) Insurance company which will actually lose money by paying more claims if their prediction of customer mortality is wrong

B) Big pharma which doesn't care about whether customers die or not, as long as they can sell statins based on some arbitrary ldl threshold

Better listen to real doctors like Thomas Dayspring and William Cromwell.

TC - 227mg/dL
HDL - 79mg/dL
LDL - 138mg/dL
Cho/HDL Ratio - 2.9
Trig - 53mg/dL

Anyway to lower the LDL? in my 40s. normal BMI/blood pressure.

Increase HDL by exercising instead. 150mins of exercise per week

Probably no magic bullet for all, but the same advice still stands, watch your diet plus exercise more. Anything more than that like special foods to take, bear in mind may not work for everyone so u gotta do some research of your own and see wat fits your lifestyle.

i actually run quite often. Minimum 3 times per week 5km to 7km. Need to run longer:cry:
Minimum 5 times per week.(30mins per session) Recommend you swimming. Too much running not good for your joints.

i usually run in the morning before i go to work. thanks anyway for your advice.

The doctor actually quite puzzled with the readings. he told me to come back in 6 months to test again.

Recently did body checkup, despite taking fish oil for few years still high cholesterol. Thinking of go JB buy some med. Can someone advice which med the best. Many thanks


I had that too. Listened to friend's advise who also had high cholesterol till had to take medicine.


Just control Ur diet for 3 months . VERY STRICT HEALTHY DIET.
No fried, processed, no cakes & bakes AND AVOID CHEMICAL OIL. EXERCISE DAILY. Ur cholesterol will immediately down in 3 mths!

Tiagong if you change your diet recently your numbers won’t be accurate

Vegetarian diet… no meat, no fried stuff

Vege is never healthy is u go for processed vege. Have more greens, white meat and beans....eat more high antioxidants fruits
True. You go Cai png stall just choose the Veges, don’t go to those vegetarian stalls… lot of carbs… in their mock thingy
