Used to have issues untill I allow the apps to run at bkgd, auto launch, etc.

Try to manually manage all those apps you want to receive notifications from. Make sure you allow them to run in the background and to auto launch. I never had any issues with my notifications and battery is still fantastic.

I tried locking in recent app. It doesnt work as well. Try doing the setting within special permission. The auto launch, etc. It worked for me.

EMUI is aggressive in killing apps to achieve better battery life.

My telegram sometimes get killed too, even though I locked it in the recent apps menu and whitelist it.

I've just updated my Mate 10 to Android P through HiCare. But after the update, I couldn't find the Bokeh effect icon in portrait mode. Anyone knows where the icon went to or was it removed? Thanks guys...

Think you must select the a pattern.

Camera, choose portrait mode. Left side will appear a button. Click on it. Need to select a bokeh effect I think. If you choose none, then it will not work

After upgrade, anyone know where is qr scanner for mate 10?

Swipe down from the main screen and click on the top right icon. Then, scroll to the left for qr scan mode.

Thanks for the reply. Instead of the bokeh icon. Now there's 2 other icons and a beautify icon. I can't seem to locate the bokeh icon...

Thanks, found with your help. 👌
I need to tap on search bar than the top right icon appears. Not sure is it able to re-config it for quick access.

Noticed ever since the emui 9 update, phone itself seems to be buggy, sometimes apps will crash or for example, in whatsapp, while typing halfway the app will close by itself and it goes to the homescreen. anyone else experience this?
