Oh.. I am using Nova Launcher Prime.. Let me try the stock Huawei launcher.

Thanks for the tip!
:o

I tried stock launcher for 5mins .. went back to Nova.

The icons are HUGE on mate 10 pro, is there any way to make it smaller? The huge icons and widgets are so ugly.

I am using Mate 10 non pro. The icons looks normal to me. I don't think you can change the icon size.

Probably you are used to the icon size in Nova Launcher. :D

btw bros and gurus here, any luck in changing the icon for mate 10/pro phone? without using 3rd party launcher.

tried huawei themes app and download some icons from google store, change most of the icons but some still remain as default..

any method to change it individually for each app?:s12:

:s22:

Nova is good, just that EMUI gesture does not work well with it. Buggy...

Is there promotion for Nova prime now? I remember from time to time they will have promotion of 99 cents... I bought Nova at 99cents previously.

Think the Nova double tap is to off the screen rather then double tap to wake like LG. Been using nova previously

So far i tested nova and evie launcher. You can also google best launcher and there will be a list. Can try which suits u.

Ok, now that i have tested both launcher, safe to say that huawei kinda being a jerk for the following roadblock they implement for 3rd party launcher. And emui kinda sucks
1) lock screen app is not usable in 3rd party launcher. You either have to press the side button to lock or customize it at the 3rd party launcher
2) customise lock screen (double tap/swipe) to lock screen require either fully lock once activate (must use pin/puzzle swipe) or 5-10sec delay b4 lock. Both option fingerprint will not work as intended
3) icons at stock emui is buggy. Some might change. Some might not. No way to customise it individually. Using 3rd party launcher will face the lockscreen issues
4) AOD is the worst. No support for 3rd party app like whatsapp/telegram/messenger etc notification. EVEN IN EMUI 9! DARRNIT
